A loan of $750 helped a member to buy more meat for her husband's butcher shop.

Parveen's Group's story

Parveen is 43 years old and married, living in Punjab, Pakistan, with two daughters and a son. For 20 years, her husband has been selling meat and is interested in buying more products for his shop so that he can increase his monthly income, as well as savings, by selling more meat. Parveen, as a member of a four-person lending group, has requested a loan from Kiva partner BRAC Pakistan in order to help her husband with buying large quantities of meat for his shop. With any profits, she will be able to save money for her future, pay school fees for her children, and reinvest in her husband business.
