Natty’s single and has a school age son. She lives in her partner’s house in the city of La Paz’s Alto Llojeta zone occupying a single room.

She earns income because she own a car she leases out to provide taxi services and the driver pays her a daily rental fee for it that she uses to pay for food, schooling and basic utility costs for her family.

She needs the loan to buy a motor for her vehicle because it needs to be replaced immediately in order to continue generating income since this is the only source of work she has to support her family.

Natty’s dream is to increase her income to be able to build her house and have more comfort and improve her quality of life.

Natty, es soltera y tiene un hijo que esta en etapa escolar, vive en casa de su pareja en la zona Alto Llojeta de la ciudad de La Paz ocupando solo una habitación.
Actualmente percibe ingresos ya que cuenta con una movilidad propia que trabaja como taxi y el chofer le entrega una renta por día, la cual usa para el pago de alimentación, educación y pago de servicios básicos de su familia.
El crédito lo requiere para la compra de motor de su vehículo, pues necesita un cambio inmediato para continuar generando ingresos ya que es la única fuente de trabajo con la que cuenta para mantener a su familia.
El sueño de Natty, es aumentar sus ingresos y poder construir su casa para tener más comodidad y mejorar su calidad de vida.
Es la novena vez que trabaja junto a IMPRO y la primera vez con KIVA.

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
