A loan of $950 helped need to buy an additional dairy cow.

Razia's story

My name is Razia A. D. from Lahore, a big city in Pakistan. I am married with six kids: three boys and three girls. My eldest daughter is in grade eight and the next two daughters are in grade five, whereas two boys are not of school-going age yet and the eldest is in grade three. My husband raises cows and sells their milk to neighboring houses I also help him in this business. We sell 40 to 50 kg of milk daily. Our business has grown substantially over a number of years by acquiring loans from Asasah, a microfinance institution in Pakistan. This year again we need another loan to buy an additional cow for our milk business.
