A loan of $700 helped to buy building materials and supplies.

Froilan's story

Froilan is married and has seven children five of which are already independent; the two little ones are school age. They live together in a house with two small bedrooms with adobe walls and dirt floor located in the city of El Alto’s Villa Ingenio zone.

Froilan never went to school because his parents had no money. He currently earns income working more than 12 hours daily in construction on various construction sites since he’s the only one who covers his family’s food, education and basic utilities costs.

He needs the loan to buy bricks, cement and stucco to improve the rooms in his house because he wants to provide more comfort for his family and to improve their quality of life.

Froilan dreams with improving his income and with finishing building his house. This is the first time he’s requested credit from IMPRO and KIVA.
