Gorica's story

Gorica lives in a Serbian community in Kosovo. She is married and has two adult children. Gorica and her husband have operated a food shop business for more than 20 years in their community. They started with a small food shop and they have now managed to expand it. In addition to the Serbian community, Gorica and her husband serve Albanians and other communities living in Kosovo.

Gorica is requesting this loan in order to buy foodstuffs for her market in order to better meet the needs of her customers from all communities in her village. She hopes that the loan will assist her in increasing the size of her shop and improving her living conditions. Gorica's goal is to expand her business and to involve her children. She is very happy for the financial support that KIVA lenders give her, because this way she is certain of making progress in her work.
