Anicia's story

Anicia is 53 and is a very happy, dynamic and enterprising woman. She has been married to Arnaldo for 26 years, with whom she has 7 children. She currently lives with her husband and three of her children, in her own house, which she was able to build with the support of her spouse, thanks to years of work and much sacrifice.

Her works consists of the selling of food and drinks, which she carries out on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, in a space she set up in her home. Her clients are principally the teachers and workers in the establishments that carry out sports activities near her house. She sells barbecued meats, with yucca or potato, as well as cold soft drinks and beers that that she refrigerates from very early in the refrigerator that she bought with her savings of several months. She has been in this business for close to 6 years and thanks to the good flavor of her products and her friendly treatment she has been able to wint he preference of her clients. She works with the support of her daughters who help her with service and accounting. What she likes about her business is that she generates her income, but her biggest difficulty is the variation in prices of the main ingredients that she uses in the preparation of her dishes. Due to this, at times her investment also increases. In spite of this, she hasn't considered backtracking because her clients come to her business without fail to taste what she sells, which motivates her to expand her business.

This is her 2nd credit with MFP and she is very happy to know that she has financial support to increase her working capital. She is also convinced that she will continue to be a responsible member with the loans, like before. She likes to pertain to the communal bank she works with since everyone is responsible and supportive within it.

With the loan of 1200 Nuevo soles, she will buy the necessary ingredients to make her barbecue platters (oil, seasonings, sacks of yucca and chicken). With the remaining amount, she will buy 15 cases of beer, which have an average investment price of 450 soles each week.
