A loan of $2,300 helped a member to buy a cow.

Las Cumplidas - Chupaca Group's story

Hello! The Las Cumplidas Chupaca communal bank is starting its fourth cycle with eight members. There are both men and women members.

One of the hardest working members in the group is Katherine. She has been buying and selling live cattle for three years.

Katherine has two children, and she lives with the father of her little ones.

She learned this trade with her parents, who also have devoted themselves to this business for a long time.

Her main customers are the butchers in her area. What she likes the most about this business is tending to her customers, and she does this with much affection.

She will use the loan to buy a cow and special feed to fatten it and later slaughter it.

She is very grateful for the support given to her and her colleagues in the group.

Katherine is the first person on the right, and she is wearing a checkered jacket. In the upper part is Luis, Rodrigo, and Juan José. Also, Juan Jose's wife is pictured with her baby in her arms.

In this group: Katherine, Agustin Raul, Aida Amparo, Luis, Yanina, Rodrigo Teodoro, Juan Jose, Luisa Angelica
