A loan of $2,650 helped a member to buy baked goods, dairy products, and sausages, etc.

Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

The Mujeres Trabajadoras [Hard-Working Women] communal bank is in its ninth cycles. It has 12 members, and all of them are very enterprising. They are grateful to the Fundación because they are growing every day as much personally as on a work level.

Laura is one of the members of the group. She sells basic needs products in her small grocery store. She wishes to continue growing by having a variety of products, making her business bigger, and having greater income. She wants this because this business activity helps to support her family.

She is requesting the loan to buy dairy products, baked goods, fruits, and vegetables, etc. This way she will be able to cover her customers’, and her own, greater quantity of necessities.

In this group: Laura, Myrian, Laura, Angelina, Amalia, Angelica, Maximiana, Daisy, Maria Celsa, Julia, Matilde*, Vidalina*
