Susana Eufemia's story

Susana Eufernia is 31 years old and lives with her common-law husband and two children, ages six and one, in the canton of Pueblo Viejo.

The members of the communal bank UNIDO SOMOS MAS (United We Are More) is located in the El Marañón disctrict, in the parish of Puerto Pechiche, which belongs to the canton of Pueblo Viejo. This small bank is devoted to short-cycle farming and the sowing of corn, rice, and beans.

Susana works in farming, sowing corn, rice, and beans. She buys her materials at the Agro Karlita commercial center and sells her products in the Castillo commercial center.

She is asking for a loan in order to sow corn, rice, and beans; to buy seeds, supplies, manure, and fertilizer for her crops.

With the support of the loan it would help her financially to fulfill her needs, and to face challenges such as plagues, disease, and changes in climate. Her dream is to be able to buy a house for herself and land to be able to increase her business.

She likes dancing and sports, especially indoor soccer.
