Francisca's story

Francisca, 61, is single and has a son. She lives in the town of Tela with two students she cares for. Francisca has been working as a florist and selling cosmetics for 20 years. She manufactures piñatas, floral arrangements and sells creams, lotions, perfume, deodorant and other beauty products and cosmetics via Avon and Vogue catalogues. She also cares for two students earing extra income that way. She’s asking for her third ODEF loan for 15,000 Lempiras to buy supplies like crepe paper, wire and glue to make piñatas because she has pending customer orders she wants to fill.
