Rocio Veronica's story

Rocio is a 25 year old woman. She lives with her husband Edison in the Valle Hermosos parish of the city of Santo Domingo. She will shortly have the good fortune of being a mother, an event that encourages her even more to strengthen her business.
Santo Domingo is a city in Ecuador. It is 655 meters above sea level, about 100 kilometers from the Pacific ocean, at 0 latitude. It has a tropical and humid climate. Due to its location it serves as an intersection of the roads leading to the principal cities of the country. The main attraction of the area is the biological diversity of nature, a variety of ecosystems extending in a zone with a high index of endemic species. It is considered by environmental scientist as a laboratory for the study of world genetics.
Rocio is an enterprising woman. She started her own business of food sales 3 years ago. She is requesting the Kiva loan to be able to purchase supplies to expand her business and take care of her customers in better conditions.
This will help her to increase her customers and her income, which she need for when the baby comes and to help to contribute to the home.
