Adama's story

Born in Koutiala around 1980, ADAMA is married and the father of six children. He lives with his family in Loulouni, a sub-prefecture of Sikasso, the third administrative region of Mali.

For about six years, ADAMA has been selling snacks (coffee with milk and omelets) as well as consumer goods. His business has a strong reputation, and he has a lot of customers - especially on market days in Loulouni. His resources don't allow him to meet customer demands, and for this reason, he has decided to partner with Soro Yiriwaso. This is his fourth loan, and his three previous loans have been repaid.

With his loan, he would like to buy sugar, coffee, milk, eggs, French butter, and bags of supplies for his store. He would like to earn a monthly income of 115 000 FCFA, which he will use to pay the interest on his loans. He will invest the rest in his business.
