A loan of $525 helped to buy capulanas (sarongs) and soft drinks to sell.

Luisa's story

Luisa is unmarried and has two school-aged children. She and her children live with her mother, and she is not financially responsible for anyone else. She has a business selling a variety of goods in South Africa. She will use this loan to buy products (capulanas [sarongs], soft drinks, etc.) to increase the quantity of merchandise she carries. In the future she hopes to build her own house to offer her children a more comfortable life. She is committed to paying off this loan so she can apply for further loans from Hluvuku. She will work hard to improve the living situation for herself and his family.
