Mom is 37 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been running a grocery store for more than four years while earning approximately $15 daily. Her husband is a boat maker who earns about $7 per day. In order to improve her family’s living conditions, Mom is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase timbers for her husband to make more boats to sell. This money will help her husband improve his business and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she plans to build a new house as soon as possible.
