A loan of $1,500 helped to buy fish.

Sonia De Los Angeles's story

Sonia is originally from Granada. She is married and has two children who are between the age of 4 and 9 years old. She is a storekeeper and she has been making a living from the sale of seafood for 10 years. When she was 18 years old she started working with her mother who was the shop owner. At the age of 20 she was left in charge of the shop and until today she has managed to get ahead with the shop. She has achieved this by marketing her products on the local market and hiring day workers who help her with the sales.

She is asking for this loan to buy fish. She thinks this loan will help her to meet the high demand she has and to keep her customers satisfied. This way she will increase her earning and with these earnings improve her home. Her plans for the future are to maintain her reputation as a great vendor of seafood and to continue supporting her mother.
