A loan of $250 helped to buy sugar, cinnamon, corn, flour, oil, seasonings, and tomatoes.

Carlos Alberto's story

Carlos makes a living selling "atol" [a dessert made of ground corn, cinnamon and milk] and "pupusas" from his vehicle.

Carlos is a person of religious principles. He lives with his wife and three children. His business has been in existence for five years. He works in the afternoons and his wife prepares the foods that Carlos distributes in different areas.

He is requesting a loan for the purchase of ingredients for his business; for example, he will invest in sugar, cinnamon, corn, flour, oil, seasonings, and tomatoes, among other products that are necessary to carry out his sales. The loan will give him the available funds he will need to make a good purchase and generate better conditions in his business.

Carlos's goals are to grow his business, increasing the variety of products he offers to his customers, because he has the disposition and the enthusiasm to improve his family's quality of life.
