Primero De Diciembre Group's story

The communal bank Primero de Diciembre comprises a group of female friends who are all neighbors residing in the same community. It is a very close and responsible group, and they all help each other pay for expenses. The members of this group are very supportive of each other. They are enterprising women and, above all, they are fighters, because they use the income they generate to help improve their families' quality of life. Blanca is one of its members. She is married and has three children. She works making crafts such as clay jugs, and embroiders hammocks, sheets, etc. with typical regional materials. The loan requested will go towards covering expenses for supplies such as thread, needles, fabric, lace, etc. She will also use it to expand her business.
