A loan of $1,150 helped to purchase grains (corn) to sell from home.

Ayoko's story

Ayoko is 36 years old and lives with her retired husband and her four children, aged 4 to 15 years old. To support her household, Ayoko has been selling grains at the entry of her house for five years. She is requesting a loan from WAGES in order to purchase large amounts of grains that she will sell retail. Ayoko plans to save the profits to be made with the goal of opening a shop outside her house. She hopes in particular she will achieve as much as possible in order to ensure her children's health care and education.
