A loan of $1,150 helped to purchase a car for his taxi business.

Kodjo's story

Kodjo is 46 years old and lives in Lomé with his wife and three children, aged 8, 12 and 15 years old, who go to school. His wife is a dressmaker by trade. As for his part, Kodjo has been a taxi driver for over ten years. He is requesting a third loan from WAGES to be able to finance the purchase of a car. The profits to be made will enable him to ensure that his family's schooling and health care costs are covered. Over the long term, he would like to be able to buy more vehicles in order to set up a taxi company.
