Akodessewa, Togo / General Store

A loan of $775 helped to purchase grocery items and cosmetics to sell.

Akossiwa's story

Akossiwa is 44 years old and lives in Lomé with her husband and her three children, aged 10, 26, and 18 years old. Her husband is a master mason. As for herself, she is the owner of a store selling grocery items and cosmetic products. She employes one person in her enterprise but often suffers from a lack of capital. She is requesting her second loan from our institution in order to increase her inventory and to diversify it. She hopes that enlarging her business will enable her family to thrive.
