Le groupement JESUS BENIT est composé de dix huit personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Françoise est celle ayant une main levée sur la photo. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de leur activité afin de mieux faire face à la demande de leur clientèle, ce groupement sollicite l'appui financier de ALIDé. Françoise a arrêté l’école au niveau primaire. Françoise est âgée de 42 ans et est marié à un chauffeur du nom de Albert. Le couple a trois enfants, tous scolarisés dont un reste à leur charge. Françoise vit avec son enfant et assure ensemble avec son mari, les diverses charges de la famille. Pour contribuer aux divers besoins de sa famille, Françoise vend depuis quinze ans, des bijoux et des vêtements à son domicile et par le système de distribution. Françoise s'approvisionne au Nigeria. Dans le but de renforcer leur activité et de mieux satisfaire leur clientèle, Françoise et les autres membres du groupement JESUS BENIT sollicitent un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Leur ambition est d’accroître le niveau de leur activité.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
