Kanga's story

Kanga sells spare parts for motorbikes and bicycles, and some building materials. The Salone Microfinance Trust (SMT) loan program made it possible for him to diversify the business. Being one of the few spare parts shops in Kabala, the demand for the items is high and many small village retailers buy from him.

Kanga is no requesting a loan of Le.3, 500,000 ($1200) to increase his stock to supply his customers and increase his profit. Kanga is serving a very important customer need in his community. He requires additional capital so that he can continue to meet the needs of all his customers on an ongoing basis.
