A loan of $1,150 helped to buys supplies for her farming business.

Nadya's story

Nadya, 23, lives with her partner, Richard, 26, and their young daughter, Cleydi, 7. She hopes, she says, that she can provide her daughter with a better life.
Nadya and her partner have operated a farming business for 5 years. They own their land and grow cacao. They hire day laborers to help maintain and harvest their crop because, they say, it is the fastest way to work. Nadya says that the business is important to her because it generates a good income and because it is, after all, what she best knows how to do. Even so, it is often a tough business, subject to the vagaries of weather and insects that can reduce her yield. She is applying to MFP for a loan that she will use to buy supplies for her next crop.

This is Nadya's first MFP loan and she says that she is grateful for your help because the loan will allow her to carry on her business. She also thanks her community bank for their support.
Nadya will use this 3,000 new soles loan to buy supplies--manure, fertilizers and a fumigator--for maintaining her cacao crop.
