Ramil's story

Ramil is 29 years old, hardworking and dedicated to his own business. He is an Internally Displaced Person and lives in Bilasuvar IDP Settlement with his wife and two children. He is a farmer and has been raising seasonal fruits and vegetables for the last 10 years. He chose this business because it is profitable and his fresh crop is in high demand. People use fresh vegetables every day and consider them healthy; many national dishes are made of vegetables, like pilau and dolma. Fresh fruits are served on every table in an Azerbaijan family and also used to make fresh punch.

Ramil sells his crop in the central bazaar. His monthly income is 80 AZN. His wife actively helps him to raise the crops.

As these products are in high demand, Ramil wants to expand his business and produce more fruits and vegetables to cover market demand. For this purpose he applied for 2000 AZN. He will buy new garden tools, seeds and fertilizers. Also he would like to buy 10 sheep.
