Joselyn Sofia's story

Joselyn is a 20-year-old young woman. She is single and lives with her parents and siblings in the city of Chincha. Despite being so young, she is a very friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic person who greatly wants to succeed. Unfortunately, due to the need to work to support her parents and pay her expenses, she has not been able to study for a professional career, however she dreams of being able to do so very soon. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing by listening to a little music.

With great effort and enthusiasm, Joselyn started a small business selling and renting out clothes, shoes and accessories. Ever day from early in the morning she starts work and can work an average of 10 hours a day. She believes she is doing well because of her novel clothing fashions and because of her friendly treatment of customers.

Joselyn is very grateful to Kiva lenders because, thanks to their help, she will be able to purchase merchandise, such as dresses, shoes and handbags, among other items. In this way, she will have her business better stocked. Thus she expects to be able to increase her sales and income. This will help her expand her business in the very near future, so that, together with her family, she will be able to get ahead.
