A loan of $600 helped to pay for medicine, doctors' appointments and medical exams.

Deyra María's story

El Sauce is a beautiful town in the west surrounded by flower covered mountains in the winter; there is much milk and curd there that’s produced by its residents. There are many people there who are very hard working and tenacious like Deyra María, 25. She’s married and is the mother of a little girl.

She’s been employed as an elementary school teacher for five years. She chose this profession because besides from loving children she likes teaching those who will be the future of the country how to read and write.

Thanks to her profession and her husband’s income they now have their own house that she’s gradually been improving with help from the loans; she wants to enlarge it to form a good estate to leave for her daughter. She’s requesting a loan to buy medicine, to pay for doctors’ visits and to carry out some medical exam to improve her daughter’s health so that she can have a happy infancy.

She thanks Kiva and Ceprodel for the support provided via these loans that have helped her to improve her family’s living conditions. She hopes to continue being helped in the future.
