A loan of $625 helped to buy fertilizer, manure and to pay labor costs.

Armando Fabiel's story

Armando, 54, is married and has three children; he lives with his family in the town of Victoria, Yoro. He’s worked in agriculture since he was a boy alongside his father; he’s now been working on his own farm for 35 years. He mainly grows beans and corn. He sells his products in local markets or to buyers who come to his house. He also has another activity, raising pigs; he involves his family in this activity.

He’s requesting a 12,000 Lempira loan to improve his corps because he needs to fertilize them and to add manure so that crop yields will be larger and better quality. For him, the loans are a great opportunity to obtain good harvests and earn higher profits. His goal is to improve the crops to improve his quality of life.
