A loan of $975 helped to buy sewing supplies.

Amanda's story

Amanda’s a member of the “Santa Rosa de Lima” (Saint Rose of Lima) communal bank in Yarinacocha Department, Ucayali Department. She’s 47-years-old, married and has five minor children. She’s been working with Manuela Ramos for several years. She owns machines she works with that are a great help to her to sew her garments that she displays for sale and generate income for her home.

She will use her 2500 new sol loan to buy 10 kilos of cotton fabric, 10 kilos of polyester, 5 meters of fleece, 1 cone of elastic and six cones of mending thread.

She spends morning doing her household chores and the afternoons at her work even more so if she has orders to fill and then stays working until
quite late.

She thanks Manuela Ramos for all the loans she’s gotten to date that she’s repaid punctually.
