A loan of $950 helped to buy two boxes of canned food, one box of soaps and 16 "pagnes".

Yemalo Célestine's story

Yemalo Célestine is 45 years old; she lives with her husband and is the mother of four children, three of whom are still in school. Yemalo Célestine has a stall right in the center of town, where she has been selling canned foods, soaps and "pagnes" (West-African colorful fabrics) for a few years. She gets her supplies from a market in Benin and has a large number of customers, thanks to the good location of her stall. With a good credit experience, she has requested and obtained financial assistance from Finadev in order to increase her capital and to meet her customers' needs. Thanks to this financial support she will be able to contribute to her children's professional education and to save some money. Her plan is to expand her activity in order to become a wholesaler.
