Lela is 36 years old and lives in the Martvili District with her family. She has a husband, Malkhaz; two children aged 11 and 14 years; and a father-in-law. Lela’s children go to the local school. Her father-in-law is provided with a retirement pension. Lela runs her agricultural business and Malkhaz works as a taxi driver. He serves local people with his own car; this is the main source of income for the family. Malkhaz is very sociable and attracts a lot of clients. The family works hard, but still doesn’t have enough income to make some savings and improve their living conditions.

Lela requested a loan to repair the car and change its tires. The car is damaged and it is already risky to drive long distances. For this reason, Malkhaz has stopped operations. After repairing the car, Malkhaz will be able to continue transportation. This will increase the income. Increased income will enable them to improve the family’s living conditions and repair their house, which is damaged and uncomfortable.
