Six out of his seven children are still living with him; some of them have their own employment and some are still in school. He is the main source of the family's income with his wife, farming two hectares of farmland growing paddy rice, the business that they have been with for 13 years. They also use their spare time for raising a pig to generate additional income. Both businesses earn them about 18,000 KHR.

Eaem has been with VisionFund for one cycle. He has managed to his loan successfully so as to better support his household and business especially in purchasing fertilizer for boosting the productivity for his cash crop and to buy more pigs to raise. Now, he is seeking a new loan in the amount of 1,200,000 KHR to buy more piglets and fertilizer for his farmland. He hopes to gain more yield from his crop husbandry and have a lot of fat pigs so he can make more income to maintain his family.
