Dolores Antonia

Honduras
Olanchito ,Yoro, Honduras / Food Production/Sales

A loan of $425 helped to buy cooking supplies such as flour, meat, cheese, butter, spices, rice, bananas, oil, etc.

Dolores Antonia's story

Señora Dolores is 54 years old and has an adult child. She lives in Olanchito, Yoro, with her husband.

She is a hardworking woman who has made a living for eight years selling food. She runs the business out of her house and she sells to her neighbors. She offers beef stuffed pastelitos [corn turnovers], baleadas (a flour tortilla with beans, cheese, egg, etc.), and tajadas [fried plantain].

As a client of ODEF, she has taken two previous loans and she is currently requesting a third loan for 8,000 Lempiras. With it she will purchase all of the necessary supplies to make food and drinks to sell. This way she will have more production and sales as well as be able to better serve her customers. Her goal is to always serve her customers and make a good income to provide the best for her family.
