A loan of $500 helped to buy seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides and pay for labor.

Rosa Marleny's story

Rose is 35 years old. She lives with her life partner and two children. She runs a small store. In addition, for five years she has grown crops, a business that her husband taught her. She acquires her agricultural supplies in a city that is 50 kilometers from her home. She buys in large quantities to save a little. She takes advantage of the trips she makes to buy merchandise for her store to also buy her supplies.

The loan that Rosa is applying for is to buy seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides and pay for labor to grow 14,000 square meters of corn. With the investment she will obtain a good production, because she will apply the ingredients on time and in the correct quantities, as well as obtaining them at a better price. From the production that she obtains, part will be destined to feed her family and the rest will be sold in her store, with the goal of obtaining more income for the well-being of her family. Her plan is to save to continue farming and acquiring merchandise for her store.
