María Margarita's story

María is a very humble, 30-year-old woman who considers herself to be very hardworking, calm and very cheerful who very much wants to get ahead with her family. María lives with her daughters and her husband near the city of Ibarra.

María works with a family member manufacturing bath towels, t-shirts and blouses, a business that started when she used to work for a firm. She’s purchased machines so that her business can be independent and earn profits. Because of her drive to continue forward she needs to increase production which is why she’s requested a loan to buy a straight stitch and overlock sewing machine so that her production will be of better quality and she can optimize her time.

María dreams with her daughters being able to finish their studies and become professionals. She also dreams with having a larger workshop to hire staff and that her income increases.
