Ricardo's story

Ricardo, 50, comes from a humble family of scarce economic resources which is why he farms on very small surfaces. He lives in the community of Quebradas in Mizque Municipality, Cochabamba Department. He’s worked in agriculture and raising cattle for 20 years. He grows onions, beans and tomatoes to feed his entire family and what’s left over is sold in the same place where he lives to merchants in Mizque.Ricardo is very well-known in his community because of his dedication to work and for being responsible for his children’s education. Ricardo is requesting the present loan to buy more seeds, manure and farm chemicals to improve and increase his crop yields thus earning more income and to improve his entire family’s living conditions.
