A loan of $1,150 helped to buy supplies like sawdust, sand, and material to ignite the oven in order to make bricks.

Nely's story

Nely, age 36, is married to Denis, and they have five children. However, they now only live with four of them in the house they bought seven years ago.

She is a businesswoman. She rents a place on the first floor of her house, and she also has a brick factory, which she manages herself. She has been making bricks for three years. In all of this time she managed to make between 30 and 35 thousand bricks a month. Starting in the first hours of the day, she works without stopping.

“Some days ago I was soaking the land to make the bricks. I slipped and fell, fracturing my hand,” she says. She hopes to recovery quickly; she likes to work. Also, she has to take advantage of the summer season when the bricks dry more rapidly, and she is able to produce double the thousands she makes a month.

This is her first loan with MFP. She hopes to improve her business with the money obtained. She has a lot of ideas. Nely will use the money to buy supplies to make bricks. She will buy things like sawdust, sand, and material to ignite the oven.
