A loan of $575 helped to buy a machine to package her daily products because up until now she has been doing it by hand.

Sonia's story

Sonia, age 21, lives with her mother, Felicitas, and her sister, Carmen. Her main business activity, which she does thanks to having two cows that provide the needed milk, is making cheese, butter, and yogurt. She packages them and sells them at a market in the city. She has had this business for six months, and it is going very well for her. It is going so well that she cannot stock up with her own production. Therefore, she has to buy dairy products from other people.

She now wishes to save all of the money she needs. She plans to study for an advanced career next year. This way she will be an example for her younger sister.

This is her third loan with MFP. She is sure that with this financial support she will be able to continue with her objectives. She pledges, once more, to make her payments. It pleases her to be part of her communal bank because all of the members are responsible and supportive people.

Sonia will use the requested money to buy a machine to package her daily products. Up until now she has been doing it by hand.
