A loan of $575 helped to buy material to make aprons.

Antonia's story

Antonia, 49, has been married to Armando for 23 years and they have four children, although only Karina still lives with them. They bought their house 30 years ago.

Her main source of income is making regional aprons for women. In her business she travels to different cities to sell her products because she can earn a higher profit this way. Around holidays she receives more wholesale orders. She also sells vegetables to the wholesale market. Her husband works in public transportation with a van he bought with his salary. She likes the fact that they are independent and progressing.

Her communal bank is called "Mollecito" and this is her tenth loan through MFP, so she is very content knowing she can count on financial support to help her get ahead in business. She is committed to paying back the loan on time. Antonia will use to money to buy materials for her aprons.
