A loan of $400 helped to buy animal feed for her animals and more meat to sell in the market.

Evelyn's story

Evelyn is 28 years old and is married to Pablo, who is her husband of three years. They have two children: Rosa and Josmel. The house where they live is their own.

While her husband works in a freight company as a driver, she raises guinea pigs, which she sells every three months by order. Thanks to her effort and sacrifice, she managed to get 200 animals. She increases them with ease because she separates them according to kinship, pregnancy and age, so she gets better results in the breeding.

Additionally, she has four young bulls that she is breeding to sell. Her secret is to plant alfalfa, thus she can provide them with good food and minimize costs. Also, in the mornings she sells meat in a stall that she rents in the central market of the city. What she wants to do now is to improve her farm and deploy it better.

She belongs to the solidarity group "Los emprendedores" and this is her loan number 14 with MFP. She is grateful for the support they give her to meet her objectives. She promises to meet her installment payments. Also, she likes to be part of the association, since she has known them for many years. Evelyn will invest the requested money to buy more meat to sell and animal feed for her animals.
