Ana Luz's story

Ana Luz, 43, lives in Olanchito, Yoro, with her four children and her husband. Two years ago she started raising pigs to sell. She used to have a grocery store but she noticed that this business is more profitable. Now she wants to make the business grow by increasing the number of animals.

She has asked ODEF for several loans to stay in business. She is currently requesting 10,000 lempiras which is the fifth loan granted that she will use to buy more pigs to raise and sell and also to buy feed like concentrate for them. She expects to increase the number of animals in order to earn higher profits since her goal is to move her family forward so that they will have a better life.
