A loan of $1,150 helped to improve her home: repair the walls, install a bathroom, etc.

Fatima Virginia's story

Fatima is 53 years old and has two children, who are between the ages of 20 and two years old. She gets ahead her children alone because she is separated from the father of her children. From that moment, she became the father and the mother for them.

Her house is located in the city of Ica, city characterized by a warm and cozy climate. Agriculture is developed in the area, especially the cultivation of asparagus, grapes, and paprika, among others.

When she has some free time, she likes to play some instruments, because she loves music. Also, she loves to eat one of her favorite dishes which is the delicious "Arroz con pollo" [Rice with chicken]. With a lot of effort and sacrifice, she studied business administration and she started her small business. Fatima works everyday in her small consulting business. She works around eight hours a day and she can attend up to three clients per day. She believes she is doing well in her work because she is kind and honest with the clients.

Fatima is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to their help she will be able to repair her house. Especially, she will repair the walls, install a bathroom since she currently hasn't one, and install floors. Doing so, she will improve her quality of life and will keep fighting to make her biggest dream come true: provide a profession for her children and be a great entrepreneur.
