A loan of $1,025 helped to buy chicken manure and potato seeds.

Tiburcio's story

Tiburcio is a man of 58. He is married, and lives in his own house. He went to school as far as primary, and has one dependent: his daughter.

The livelihood of the client and his wife is clearly farming and the main products he grows and sells are potatoes, lima beans, peas, barley and corn. He plants these crops on his own parcels of land which are located in the community of Payco Mayu Bajo in the municipality of Tíraque, which is approximately 65 km from the city of Cochabamba.

Tiburcio and his wife say they are hard-working and responsible people who wish to improve themselves and increase their agricultural production. To that end, they see the need to apply for investment capital, in order to purchase chicken manure and potato seed. In this way they can get greater productivity and thereby improve their family's quality of life.
