Ekua's story

Ekua is married and has four children. She sells banku (fermented maize dumplings) and fish in Ayensudu, near Elmina, which she has done for six years. Her husband is a security officer. Ekua uses her income to pay her children's school fees. She will use the loan to purchase ingredients for her banku and fish. With her new profits, Ekua plans to expand her business.
