A loan of $1,000 helped to buy two grills in order to sell chicken, pork, and sausage sandwiches.

Claudia Margarita's story

Claudia, age 28, has a three month old daughter. Claudia sells delicious chicken, pork, and sausage sandwiches at the most populous fair in the city of El Alto.

This loan is her first cycle within the institution. Claudia is going to use this loan to buy two grills for her business. Her reason for requesting this loan is that she is a new client, and she really likes the work. She will invest in order to make progress because she will buy two large grills.

Claudia faces challenges in her business, the competition of new women who have stationed themselves in the same place that she sells. This hurts her a little. That is the reason she wishes to grow in her business in order to make more sandwiches to sell more and increase her income. She will use the profits to buy new utensils in order to continue improving her work.

Her wish in the long term for her business is to open a cafeteria. In order to do so she will need capital to rent a place and the furniture.
