Moses's story

Moses lives in the Kongowea area of the Coast province, Kenya. He is single. He owns a retail shop, a business he has been operating for eight years. Apart from this, he owns a rental house from where he gets his salary. Moses learnt about Milango through a friend who invited him to the group. He joined with the goal of accessing credit to improve business operations. The challenges he is facing are price fluctuation, inflation and market seasonality. Moses is applying for a loan of 31,500 Kenya shillings to add stock of retail items like cups, plates, flasks, etc. The extra income from the loan will be added to his savings to improve his family's standard of living. His plan for the future is to open a wholesale shop.
