A loan of $300 helped a member to buy fertilizers for her farmland.

Lun's Group's story

A citizen from a village located in the Mongkul Borey district, Lun is 43-years old and married. She lives with her husband and her children doing rice farming to make a living. She has eight children; five of whom are dependent on her and still in school. Having been in the rice farming business for eight years, she is able to earn about 20,000 KHR per day.

Lun has been with VisionFund for six loan cycles while the other member has been with VisionFund for two cycles. After successful loans from VisionFund, she feels empowered to make a living. She is leading a group of two to apply for a loan with VisionFund. As the leader, she is going to use her portion to buy fertilizers for her farmland. She hopes this loan will enable her to grow her rice healthily so as to improve her living condition.
