Amil, age 27, and his wife Ragsana earn their living through an agricultural business. They live in a small village of Gardabani District. They have two milking cows and five calves. Ragsana milks the cows twice a day and produces cheese, part of which is used by the family; the rest is sold locally. They also own a plot of land, where they grow broom. Amil sells the broom in nearby villages. The total average monthly income of the family is 500 Laris.
Amil has requested a loan to be used toward cultivation of his agricultural land. After cultivation, he plans to sow more broom there. Amil and Ragsana will work hard on their plot in order to obtain a good harvest, which will be sold for a good price. As a result of this Kiva loan, the family’s income will increase, which will enable them to improve the family’s living conditions.
Amil is grateful for your help and kindness.
