A loan of $650 helped to purchase rice, oil, and cereal to improve his business.

Adolfo's story

Adolfo is 60 years old and is the owner of a store located in the center of his town. There, he offers the public food and soft drinks among other things from his selection of familiar items. He started this business 18 years ago from a space in his home which is located very close to an intersection where a school is located and buses pass. This location strengthens sales specifically that of soft drinks, food, and confectionery among others.

He works from 6am to 10pm because he is a very hard worker that wants to accomplish his goals of entrepreneurial stability and the well being of his family. Adolfo's business has strong growth potential and he requires a permanent product offering thus requiring the adaptation of his location with the goal of offering the most comfortable products to his customers.

His greatest challenge, however, is not having enough working capital to invest in higher volumes and realizing the improvement of his locale. This is the reason why he seeks a Kiva loan with which he will purchase rice, oil, and cereals to improve his business in the hopes of employing a marketable presentation. He also hopes to increase the amount of inventory he has in stock and impact his sales by increasing the amount of customers served. He hopes that every time they purchase they return and are faithful.
