A loan of $300 helped to purchase call center accessories and a motorcycle.

Judith's story

She is a lovely mother blessed with five children; one of them below the age of 15. They make a happy home with her husband. This family of seven is living in a three room apartment house in the Mile 4 neighborhood of Nkwen area in Bamenda, North-West Region of Cameroon. She has faced a lot of challenges in her life such as inadequate capital to start up a business, the poor health situation of family members, and lack of means to provide basic needs for the family.

She intends to buy a motorbike and also operate a callbox business. This loan will help the community by providing easy and cheap transportation for the population, as bikes are very accessible to neighbourhoods. The callbox will ease communication needs of community members. The business (especially that of the callbox) will succeed because of her location, the demand for mobile phone products and her experience in running the business. The profits will be used to improve her life and that of her family members.
