Raqia's story

Ms. Raqia is a 33-year-old married woman who's been selling milk for the past 20 years. She has five calves and two milk cows. She sells milk to many of her neighbors, along with butter that she makes from the milk. Her business is good enough for her to lead a decent life. She has two daughters who are going to school. She is very motivated to provide them with a beautiful life including good education, food and clothing. She has improved her business to meet the day-to-day expenses of life.

It’s Ms. Raqia's second year with Kashf Foundation, and she is happily running her business with its support. Now she has requested a loan of 30,000 Pakistani rupees to purchase one more cow and feed for its calves. She hopes to increase her production capacity which ultimately helps to generate more cash.
